Our Story

Born in Auckland,
Built for Gamers

Qerunavik started in 2016 around a kitchen table in Ponsonby, Auckland. Three friends — tired of reading reviews that felt disconnected from real play experiences — decided to build something different.

Today we're a team of twelve reviewers spread across New Zealand, from Wellington to Christchurch, each bringing their own genre expertise and uncompromising honesty to every title we cover.

We never accept payment for reviews. We never inflate scores for advertisers. Every game gets at least 20 hours of play before a single word is written.
